Kuro Deko is a duo based in Tokyo Japan, featuring Jesus Salinas and Elliot Cormack. Two musicians from very different backgrounds hail from Mexico and England respectively.
Together they combined forces to create music that explored elements of 80s synth and new wave music. These elements and more are felt on their brand new single “Skies Apart.”
What begins as a synth journey soon morphs into a more cosmic exploring experience that feels like a few different film scores within itself throughout it’s six-minute plus runtime. The track explores plenty of groovy synth-driven and instrumental genres of music, feeling like a combination of the powers of Chromatics and Tycho.
