Jane Migraine is an artist out of Richmond, Virginia, who has been sharing the self-recorded songs that she has titled “yearn rock” such as her lovely new offerings “7 Hours.” It’s taken from her debut album Lady Macbeth in the Morning, which was released back in May via Totally Real Records.
The track hits an emotional nerve with a soft-spoken dreamy lush folk-rock sound that has a bit of a light shoegazy element on the surface of it all. Or as she describes it:
A sweet song about longing, loneliness, and long distances. This is yearn rock.
