Ireland’s Brass Phantoms return in the most urgent fashion with their big ambitious new single “Hurricane,” which hits all the right sweet spots during the tough time.
It sees the band evolve their sound even more with a textured guitar-driven element that still has that big ambitious sleek polished rock feel but also hits a little bit differently than some of their past efforts.
Just when you think you know where the song is going, they find a way to shift expectations during the middle portion which sees them experiment with some slightly jammy elements that lead right back to the punchiness that came before in an even more effective manner.
