Canadian indie outfit Dog Day just released their new album PRESENT, the first offering from the band in seven years.

“Hell on Earth” is one of the great songs taken from the album that has caught our attention.

It channels some great 90s rock sounds with a bit of lush dreamy arrangements and some slacker vocals that work quite well among the jangly summer guitars and free-swinging attitude. It reminds of some of the jangle-pop with hints of shoegaze found on some of The Pains of Being Pure At Heart’s early work.
