London duo Sad Night Dynamite caught some attention earlier this year with the release of their debut EP SND001. They’ve recently returned with their dynamic and unique new single “Icy Violence.”
The track sounds like a nightmare version of Gorillaz if they’re on a bad acid trip. With a mix of electronic, hip hop and atmospheric rock, “Icy Violence” dabbles in a few different sounds, creating something very much unique and mysteriously their own.
Just when you think you’ve figured the track, it pivots and transforms into something new, a melting pot of ideas that has my curiosity piqued about what the future holds for these guys, who may be the most interesting new music duo that you don’t know about yet.
