The Away Days is the Istanbul-based dream-pop/shoegaze project artist Can Ozen, who has returned with his new single “Sadness Will Last Forever,” a title that does feel pretty appropriate these days.
Ozen channels a lot of the dreamy psych-influenced haze found on the early days of Tame Impala’s work, with a feeling of sonic bliss that taps into a deep emotional well that cuts deep.
