Vancouver folk-rock/alternative artist D.G. Adams has hit back with a timely track with his new single “Dangerous.” It’s the first taste of his upcoming album “Nexxt!” and see’s the songwriter touch upon the frustrations that are currently brewing with all that’s happening in the world.
The track has a bit of a 90s rock tint to it, with a matter-of-fact delivery of the vocals from Adams that suits the gritty guitar work and solos that act as a call of arms or sort. But he does so in a calming fashion, while still giving off a sense of urgency with his delivery.
Find a quote from Adams below about the making of the track:
“Dangerous” was written before the pandemic hit. I was thinking about environmental and societal degradation, particularly that caused by the current POTUS and his flunkies. Then came Covid_19 and suddenly the song seemed so apropos, and releasing it became much more urgent.
