Taylor Janzen is a pop musician from Manitoba, Canada who is signed to Glassnote Records. She’s recently released her new single “Devotion,” a track about forgetting who you are and creating identities for yourself based around the people and things you love. As she describes: “This song is about trying to find myself again.”
It’s no doubt a pop-leaning track but it also straddles the line of a more indie rock sound that reminds of some of the work of fellow rising pop star Clairo with its ability to craft a pop hook built around a dreamy indie rock sound. It’s both polished but carrying a bit of a raw passion at the same time.
