Film on Song is an indie-pop project based out of Charlottesville, Virginia, who caught our attention with their latest single “Friends of Mine.”

The band are described as “a slacker’s dream of carefree indie-pop” and they certainly live up to that description and then some on “Friends of Mine.” It’s the type of track that would’ve had a welcome home during the 80s, a smartly crafted song with a melancholic feeling in the air, resting in-between the well-written hooks.

You can find “Friends of Mine” streaming below and find all their tracks available on their Bandcamp.
