Rochester New York’s Maybird has recently returned with their new track “Fried Dead Moth,” a song that the band describes as “the aftermath of the “like a moth to flame” saying, only in this instance it alludes to the dangers of falling in love too quickly. Going straight into the light without any caution has its consequences.”

It’s their first new single since the release of their debut album Things I Remember From Earth last year on Danger Mouse’s label 30th Century Records.

A dreamy cut that has a melancholic love-longing feeling to it, with some beautiful arrangements and vocals that emphasize the emotional aspects that they are so delicately putting forward. The track was entirely home-recorded, with each of the band members having sent tracks to each other from their individual apartments in different areas of New York state.
