Los Angeles-based band Provoker have returned with their new single “Since Then,” the band’s first release since their 2018 EP Dark Angel. Today the band has shared their official music video for the track.
“Since Then’ has a groovy new wave-inspired sound that also features elements of soul found with the vocals, reminding of some artists like Twin Shadow. It’s a late night sound that moves with an effortless cool feeling around it.
About the song Provoker’s Christian Petty says:
At its core it’s a love song, beyond that it’s about keeping good memories alive and letting the bad ones die. It’s more relevant now than ever during these times of isolation, where we are forced to be with our memories and thoughts.
