Icelandic/Norwegian band Melasól is gearing up for the release of their debut EP and have given us our first taste of what is to come through their debut single “Venjulegur Maður.”
The EP is described as a “warm and embracing sound that puts you in the rehearsal room and tells the story of a young boy from Island who is discovering love, longing, and friendship. It’s the sound of that cool summer breeze, you’re in love and schools out. It’s about those unbeatable and cherishable moments that brings you the widest smiles.”
After a warm intro, “Venjulegur Maour” expands its embrace into a big bold atmospheric rocker that plays with an emotional and melancholic tone. It all shines through confidently with a polished production style and a polished feel that carries a ton of emotional weight.
