John King Cave is an artist and musician based in Albuquerque, New Mexico who is preparing for the release of his debut album Devil Rides Beside, which will be released on May 1st.
“Gethsemane” is the first single taken from the album and it’s quite an introductory statement to the work of Cave and the anthemic powerhouse Americana sound that he makes seem so natural and effortless. Channeling tons of great artists and sitting somewhere between the pure power of Springsteen and the songcraft delivery of Cass McCombs.
