Roni Bar Hadas is a singer-songwriter based in Tel Aviv, who is preparing to release her debut album Calm the Beast later this Spring.
Roni started her musical journey as a classical musician, with an itch to create her own original work. While writing the materials for Calm the Beast, she was inspired by artists such as Elliott Smith, Fiona Apple, and Beck, for helping to contribute to her musical style.
“You’re Gonna Tell Me” is the lead single from the album which has a dazzling production style with a dreamy Cults-like sound to it while also paying an ode to classic songs of the bygone era, led by the shiny glimmer of Hadas’ lovely vocals.
