British band Make Friends have returned with their fourth single, “When Nothing’s Said.”

The track channels some of the angular guitar rock of acts like Foals but with a different approach vocally with captures the same moody tone but vocally offers a completely different feel, something slightly more soulful and atmospheric at that.

As the band’s guitarist David Thomas describes the song as:

“When Nothing’s Said is about experiencing intense paranoia from the idea that your partner is being unfaithful to you, to the point that it’s making you think irrational and unhealthy thoughts. Despite the fact that these thoughts might ultimately stem from nothing, you can’t help but think of things differently to how you used to
