Jordana, the project of Wichita, Kansas’ Jordana Nye, recently announced the re-release of her 2019 album, Classical Notions Of Happiness, via Grand Jury Music.
Ahead of the release, she’s shared the rather infectious closing track on the album “Crunch.” With a mesmerizing combination of vocals and instrumentation, “Crunch” is a memorable indie rock offering with some well-paired delicate vocals.
Here’s a little bit of info on the song from Nye, followed by a stream of it below.
“Crunch is a feeling of an overbearing want for validation from someone and getting the cold shoulder from them. The song starts out with the confidence in knowing this person could possibly notice you, and ends in anger and frustration seeing that they ignored you, established by a distorted guitar solo.“
