Norwegian indie outfit Ludvig Moon are a self-described “weird and diverse bunch” who became a close-knit group of friends and bandmates. They’ve been a part of the local scene for a bit and have returned with their brand new single “Heaving For Oxygen,” a preview of their upcoming album Vanilla, due out this spring.
The track is a perfect slice of dream pop that soars with some shoegaze elements that are fine-tuned with some glossy vocals. With tight-knit instrumentation and some mesmerizing hooks, it’s an indie-rock gem that reminds me of the sort of stuff I would discover late at night scouring the internet in the late 2000s.
