Go Get Mum are a four-piece band from Australia who are gearing up for the release of their new EP Ok Now What on March 20th via Meritorio Records.
The band say that their songs “revolve around the complexities of love, the power of friendship, connection with place, and the pitfalls of partying.” and that they are “fascinated with simple but powerful storytelling where beauty is found amidst the mundane.”
This can be felt clearly on “Moving Day,” the first single released from Ok Now What . Like a glorious mix of the guitar work of bands like Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and the lyricism of Courtney Barnett, it’s a winning combination that simply puts a smile on your face.
