Summer of George is a rock band based in Berlin but with members hailing from London, Detroit, Barcelona, and Tel Aviv. Their goal is to make music that reminds you of growing up spending time during those hot summers in basement shows, “wishful drinking.”
They released their first EP Cheerleader Blues today and we have their absolutely rocking lead single and title track to share with you.
The track “Cheerleader Blues” takes some heavy inspiration from 90s rock such as Built To Spill and Pavement, with some delicious guitar work and a big-time memorable chorus that hooks you in way too effortlessly.
