Energetic rising British outfit Sports Team just released their new EP Making Hay via Bright Antenna Records and returned to the States for their second tour here this year. We last caught them when they played at Elsewhere Zone One back in June and on October 22nd they returned to Brooklyn for a performance at Baby’s All Right.
Sports Team ran through a blistering 10-song set of their infectious and high-energy no-nonsense rock tunes to an audience that features members of Hinds and plenty of young fans who stuck around to nearly midnight to see the band perform. There’s clearly something special brewing with Sports Team, the rare sort of instant connection that only comes once a generation and they seem to have it locked down before even releasing their debut album.
