Copenhagen dream-pop outfit The Oceans are preparing for the release of their second EP and have shared it’s latest single “Juvenile,” on the heels of the previously released “High On You.”
The track captures everything that made us so big fans of the group when they caught our attention in the first place, with glorious levels of fuzz that help send the dream levels of this stunner to the stars, with elements of shoegaze and dream-pop that seamlessly blend into one heavenly whole.
Here’s a bit about “Juvenile” straight from the band themselves:
In a modern world with our lives being more and more busy, we’re forgetting to be childish. Forgetting the juvenile inside of us. When we were free from concerns, free from expectations. When we only thought the best of people. We’ve forgotten about our childhood, forgotten to stop up and listen to our inner child. Forgotten about our dreams. Forgotten that it is good for us to have dreams and to follow them. “Juvenile” was the last song to be written for the EP, and the final writing was done the same day as it was recorded.
