Zuma Creek is the writing/recording project of Florida-based Musician Nathan Fugleberg. On Friday he released his self-titled debut album, of which we are sharing standout “Shark Teeth” today.
The track has a lo-fi feel that is ripe for some cool listening in the air conditioning as this blistering heat scorches down on our backs. With jangly guitars and a charming early 2000s indie bedroom rock swagger to it, it sneaks up on you with Fugleberg’s irresistible vocal delivery and surprising hooks. There’s a nostalgic feeling felt deep within it’s DNA one that connects and lands triumphantly.
