The Criticals is a rock band out of Nashville, Tennessee who channel many of the greats of rock and roll, both classic and modern.
Take their brand new single “Homebody,” the first of six songs that will be released by the band leading to their debut EP. It’s a track with some big-time Strokes vibes, but also channeling plenty of the classics as well. It’s a confident effort that doesn’t totally reinvent the wheel but does a damn good statement of why The Criticals are a new rock act to keep a firm eye on.
