Brooklyn’s Shane Conerty has returned with his latest single as Color Collage, “Eye On You,” a track that definitely lives up to the band’s self-described “electronic Doo-Wop” genre on their Facebook.
The track comes in with a sweeping feeling of nostalgia as a love-struck pop jam that is pop in all the ways that the word meant back in the good old days. There’s a bit of a classic rock feel on the instrumentals that combine nicely with the earnest 70s pop approach that Conerty takes here to make it one of the band’s most affecting releases to date.
