Gently Tender, the new band of Sam Fryer, Pete Mayhew and Will Doyle, former members of Palma Violets (all of the band minus Chili Jesson). They made their introduction last year with their 7″ single featuring new songs “2 Chords Good” and “Avez-vous déjà.”
Compared to the previous releases, “Some Hard Advice” is the most Palma Violets sounding tracks that they’ve released to date but a much more mature version of their sound at that. A strong vocal performance from Sam Fryer and a heavy focus on the synth-elements of their sound that definitely shine through here.
