On October 22, Mom + Pop celebrated their 10th anniversary with a party at Brooklyn Steel, celebrating six artists on their roster. The stacked lineup featured performances from Courtney Barnett, Tom Morello, Sleigh Bells, Neon Indian, Alice Merton, and Sunflower Bean.

This was a party featuring many of the labels friends and other figures of the music industry, mixed with fans of all of the acts. The night felt like a mini-festival of sorts, with bands given short but efficient performances that gave fans a quick but thrilling run through of each artist. A highlight of the night was when Tom Morello joined Sleigh Bells for a performance of “Bitter Rivals,” provided guitar overload in the best possible way.

Being the headliner, Courtney Barnett got to play a 8-song set that just about lasted an hour, giving fans a set of all her past favorites, as well as selections from her newly released Tell Me How You Really Feel, with a balloon drop coming during her set-closing performance of “Pedestrian at Best,” that was the exclamation point on a fun night celebrating all things Mom + Pop.
