Modest Mouse hasn’t released a new album since 2015’s Strangers to Ourselves but have been steadily touring ever since. Their latest U.S. leg had them return to the area for a performance at Kings Theatre and then to New Jersey on October 10, where we caught them at The Wellmont Theatre. This was almost a year to the day that we last caught them, when they played at The Capitol Theatre.
As one could expect from Isaac Brock and the rest of the band, they are always willing to mix things up with every show and give fans a good eclectic mix of new and old. Their 18-song performance at The Wellmonth was no different, giving fans quite a show that was full of the energetic indie rock that only they could churn out with as much passion as they deliver in a live setting.
