Melbourne native Alexander Biggs has just returend with his new EP Whatever Helps You Sleep via Sony Music Entertainment. One of the lead singles off the new release is the lovely single “Dog Boy.”
There’s a grand feeling to the track which opens in a beautiful fashion and slowly but surely grows into something grander along the way. There’s this underlying sadness but also reckoning as if letting go a piece of your past that has been following your shadow for way too long. It’s even more impressive to learn that the track was written by Biggs “in a blanket fort in a ground floor apartment in the middle of Melbourne city.”
