Interpol will return with their new album Marauder on August 24 via Matador Records. First single “The Rover” is a hard-hitting track that doesn’t quite change the Interpol formula but it’s them doing their thing and doing it well.
Now the music video (directed by Gerardo Naranjo) for “The Rover” is where things get a bit nutty. Starring actor Ebon Moss-Bachrach (best known as Desi from Girls) is a bit more out there and it’s definitely open to interpretation. There’s also a blink and you’ll miss it cameo from a member of another famous rockstar from Interpol’s era.
