Ginger Root is Cameron Lew, a film student based out of Huntington Beach, California. He recently released his sophomore album Mahjong Room, which he wrote produced and mixed all on his own. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, he also shot, edited and directed his own music videos.
We have shared a few of his songs of late and today we are eager to share with you the title track from the album, “Mahjong Room.”
It’s a bright and sunny track that is ripe with some colorful production and easy-going vocals that blend the vibes of Mac DeMarco and Toro y Moi with an effortlessness that suites him quite well.
