Coco Reilly hails from east Nashville, coming up in its indie rock scene. Drawing influences from 60s/70s dream pop, she channels these old-school sounds and gives them an updated reimagining on her debut single “Define You.”
When speaking about the writing of “Define You,” Reilly admits that tshe wanted to write a love song that would be the sort to sweep her off her feet. Well she certainly sweeps us off our feet with this lovely track which finds a nice psych groove to offer something new to a welcoming familiar old school sound that she has made very much into her own. This is one hell of a debut,
