The Film Society of Lincoln Center has announced the full main slate lineup for the 2017 New York Film Festival. We already know that Richard Linklater’s Last Flag Flying will open, Todd Haynes’ Wonderstruck will act as the centerpiece and Woody Allen’s Wonder Wheel will close it out. Now comes the rest of the festival’s always exciting and interesting 25-film lineup.

The main slate includes Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me By Your Name and Dee Rees’ Mudbound – both of which had some standout buzz at the Sundance Film Festival earlier in the year. Also included are Noah Baumbach’s The Meyerowitz Stores, Sean Baker’s The Florida Project, Greta Gerwig’s Lady Bird, Ruben Ostlund’s The Square, Hong Sang-soo’s On The Beach At Night Alone, and Robin Campillo’s 120 Beats Per Minute.

It looks to be a deep and interesting lineup that will offer a wide variety of films of all different speeds and genres – and with 8 of 25 films selected directed by women – the festival seems to have diversity in mind in more ways than one.
