On July 12 House Of Vans gave us a free night of rock and roll with performance from Australian punk rockers Royal Headache as well as Philadelphia rockers Sheer Mag.
Sheer Mag recently released their proper full-length debut Need To Feel Your Love via Wilsuns RC and it’s a solid album that cashes in on the promise that they showed on their three EPs. Their brand of rock and roll is a throwback to older sounds, but man, do they really deliver in the live environment.
The night closed off with a fiery set from Royal Headache who delivered a mix of brash punk anthems as well as some pieces that allowed lead singer Tim “Shogun” Wall to show off some range. It was my first time seeing them perform and seeing them during a hot sweaty summer day at House Of Vans seemed as fitting as ever.
