Los Angeles shoegaze rockers Froth returned this year with their solid new album Outside (Briefly), which Wichita Recordings released in February.
On April 29, the group came to Brooklyn for a performance at Baby’s All Right. With images projected over them, the band delivered a dreamy state of fuzzy shoegaze that had the audience in a concentrated trance.
A mix of lush, dreamy melodies and their more experimental offerings gave fans everything that they could want. Fans still wanted more after the set, staying to cheer for an encore, but the band’s set was one complete whole, not something that could simply start all over again, which was totally understandable.
