After catching a shortened set from Foals in Manhattan, I headed over to catch a set from Warpaint at Baby’s All Right. This intimate show was a part of the It’s A School Night Series. Originally fans had to RSVP for a chance to win entry, but during the show the band posted to social media saying it was a free show. Something got mixed up somewhere down the line, and although it was still a pretty packed show, it wasn’t the sold out show that Warpaint at Baby’s All Right should’ve been.
Singer-songwriter Andy Shauf opened things up with a hushed set, then it was time for Warpaint. This showed served as a little warm-up for them, testing out some new songs of their recently released album Heads Up (released via Rough Trade Records), rounding out the rest of their set with old favorites like “Undertow,” “Elephants,” and “Love Is To Die.”
Find their setlist posted below, along with shots of both their set and Andy Shauf’s.
