Toronto electronic artist Totemic is gearing up to release his brand new EP Falling, set to take his epic electronic dance ideas to a brand new audience.
Based on first single “Falling,” he seems to be doing something faithful to the genre, also with some of his own unique spins and flourishes. It starts off with an almost Basement Jaxx like start, soon diving into some futuristic tribal rhythms along with some well-minded piano and shuffling dance beats. Electronic music can be very hit or miss with me, but Totemic finds a nice balance that works.
