>Last November I was lucky enough to catch an intimate performance from Tobias Jesso Jr. at a loft in Williamsburg. As it turns out those songs were from his debut album Goon, which is coming out March 17 via True Panther Sounds.
One of those songs that he shared was a lovely songs by the name of “Without You.” It’s a beauitful John Lennon-esque piano ballad that features Danielle Haim of Haim behind the drum kit and was produced by Ariel Rechtshaid. It’s a simple but an exceptionally heartbreaking offering from Jesso Jr., who may just be releasing one of the best debut albums of the year.
