Christmas has come early for all those desperate to see The Interview. Although it is coming to theaters tomorrow, it’s only screening at a limited amount of theaters, so those who don’t live near one of the screens showing it are unfortunately out of luck.
But no fear, Sony has made the film available to purchase and stream online. Since 1 p.m. today, the film has been available to stream on Youtube, Google Play, and Xbox Video. It’s also available at seetheinterview.com. You can rent it for $6 or own it for $15.
Many are confused at Sony streaming it on the rival Xbox, but it makes sense when you consider the history of hacks on the Playstation Network. There is also reports that Sony is working on a deal with Netflix to eventual stream the film on there, but that won’t come for another few days, if that soon at all.
So now you can go find a theater playing The Interview, or buck up a few bucks and stream it from the comfort of your own home. After all that drama, The Interview is now available for your viewing pleasure. Happy Holidays!
