Swedish group Simian Ghost kicked off my CMJ Wednesday off at Cake Shop, for the free day party put on by Terrorbird Media.
What started as a project for Sebastian Arnström has turned into a full band project that has gone on to release three albums. This year they released the Never Really Knew EP, and brought themselves back to New York City for some CMJ action. They delighted with smart written pop songs that were smooth as hell and full of some well needed sunshine. Would you expect anything less from Swedes?
It was a great way to kick off my first official full day of CMJ action. Hope to catch this guys live again someday soon, because they were a real delight.
