Before John Dwyer started Thee Oh Sees, he was in a band (one of many, such as his new solo project Damaged Bug) called Coachwhips from 2001-2005. Their last show went down right here in New York City back in 2005.
They have just announced that they will be reuniting for a couple shows during SXSW. I’ll have to make sure I find the time to catch at least one of their shows.
