Tomorrow is the big day. Arctic Monkeys headline MSG in their biggest American show to date. I asked you guys, their biggest fans, to share thoughts on the show, and what its significance means to you.

A few of you guys took the time to write something, which is easier said than done, so thanks to you guys that actually took the time to participate. I appreciate it.

Instead of compiling all them together, I’m going to release them one by one, so each person’s post gets their own individual spotlight. Here’s our next submission, from Justin Babbino.

Justin Babbino:

It’s tough to really put into words what Arctic Monkeys headlining the great MSG means to me. You know a band is truly amazing and touching when something that they’re doing that really doesn’t benefit you directly impacts you in such a way. Such a way that makes you feel all jittery, on edge with excitement. Some people who know me might think I have a man-crush on Alex Turner, but that isn’t exactly true. Ok well maybe it is, but I feel like I’m on the same level as him, as if he knows what I’m thinking and how to phrase it in a poetic nature.

He’s an observer and knows how to understand perspectives other than his own. It’s strange because before I ever listened to Arctic Monkeys I could’ve sworn I knew most of their songs already. It was like I was meant to hear them and be a part of their rise to American success. This is what MSG means to me. I feel the tiniest bit responsible, even if I only influenced one person to give up their ears to them. All fans should feel involved and a part of this huge leap across the pond. I take a lot of pride in saying that my favorite band is also the best band in the world.

I suppose I could write about Arctic Monkeys all day, but seeing as whoever is reading this probably knows everything about them, I shall just say that I’m glad they’re coming and that February 8, 2014 will be one of the most legendary days, possibly ever.
