There’s a wide variety of influences in the sound of Washington band Gumshen. You can hear this is in their groovy track “Stipulation.” The track comes off their new EP Progtonica, which is due out February 11.
A big massive bass beat hits over a catchy synth line. There’s a feeling of familiarity to “Stipulation” that greets you fast. It’s a driving song that is somewhere in between electronic and alternative, finding a solid balance between the two.
