How To Train Your Dragon caught me by surprise many years ago sweeping me well off my feet with a beautiful film. It quickly became one of my favorite animated films not only of the last few years, but of all time. The first teaser trailer that was released for the upcoming How To Train Your Dragon 2 was a beauty, but it was just a tease. Now they’ve returned with a real trailer that tells us just what is going down this time around.
5 years after the first film, Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) and Toothless are back at it again. With the peace between Dragons and Vikings restored, man and dragon are able to work together to find new territories to make new discoveries. Only it leads them to meet a mysterious Dragon Rider, who may very well threaten the very peace that they worked so hard to forge.
The trailer is allowing all the emotions from the first film come back to me at rapid fire. I can’t wait to jump back into this world again when How To Train Your Dragon 2 comes out on June 13.
