300 Rise Of An Empire Poster

Back in July we got the first trailer for 300: Rise Of An Empire, and now a second trailer has been shared, giving us an even deeper look at the new film.

We get a even deeper loo at the war that Greek general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) brings to the sea in attempts to revolt against the Persian forced of Xerxes (Rodrigo Santor) and Artemisia (Eva Green).

We see plenty of the stylized violence that has Zack Snyder’s mark all over it, even though he’s reverted to a producer/co-writer for the sequel, leaving the film in the hands of new director, Noam Murro whose only previous feature film is 2008’s Smart People.

The film is no doubt going to be a visual stunner, and probably worth a IMAX/3D screening, but I have my concerns about how it will all turn out. But we shall see how it all turns out when 300: Rise Of An Empire comes out on March 7.
