The Men had a busy 2013, as they released not only a new album (New Moon) but also a new EP (Campfire Songs). They’ve also released an album every year through 2010-2012. They don’t seem to have plans to slow down, as they will release a new album called Tomorrow’s Hits on Sacred Bones on March 4.
The band recorded the album at the end of winter 2012, in Brooklyn’s Strange Weather studios. They tracked the songs live, even bringing in a horn section to help out. 8-songs from the session made the final cut. The songs of Tomorrow’s Hits are the first to be recorded in a high-end studio, leaving them with their highest fidelity album yet. It’s described as incredibly straightforward and concise, that is “full of genre-bending risks.”
