Seeing Bassnectar live was quite an experience, to say the least. I’ve listened to his music and thought it was okay, although not my favorite style. But I have to admit, he’s good at what he does. I’ve seen him before but I just couldn’t connect a vibe to him, so I left. However, I knew seeing him at Mountain Oasis is the “right” place to see him in so I guess you could say I was ready to commit.

Being down in the photo pit, I though the intensity of his bass was going to cause my organs fall out of my body. I couldn’t tell if I was grabbing good shots because my whole body was shaking and my camera was bugging out. The people in the front row behind me were going absolutely insane. I’ve been to my fair share of electronic shows to say the least, but I’ve never seen people like this. In the end I actually enjoyed the show but the bass even in the back of the USCC Arena left an unsettling feeling in my stomach for over an hour and a half.
