My last stop of the night was catching the tail end of the Panache Booking showcase at 285 Kent featuring Ex-Cult and Speedy Ortiz. I caught the last leg of Ex-Cult’s set which was electric and viciously exciting from what I saw. Speedy Ortiz followed with a more mellowed out set that was a mix of Pavement/Built To Spill. They seemed to have a laid back attitude to their set that was sometimes lacking in some oomph, but it was still not a bad way to end my night.
