Los Campesinos! return with new album No Blues on October 29 via Wichita/Turnstile/Heart Swells. Towards the end of the summer they gave us our first taste of the album with a free download of an album track titled “What Death Leaves Behind.”
They’ve followed that up with “Avocado, Baby” another new track to listen to. They brought in the Cardiff Cougar Allstars cheerleading squad to help out on vocals, and their vocals add a lot to the epicness that unfolds in their chorus. Los Campesinos! always manage to have this somewhat contained songs that have this ability to feel grand and large scale at the same time.
“Avocada, Baby” is a glorious winner. This band just continues to constantly release great tunes.
