Believe it or not, The Killers have been a band for 10 years now. If that doesn’t make you feel old..I don’t know what will. They’re releasing a greatest hits compilation album titled Direct Hits on November 11 to celebrate the mark. It features a few new songs, including “Short At The Night” which was produced by Anthony Gonzalez of M83.
“Shot At The Night” sounds like a old school radio hit that you would hear in the heart of the 80’s (the title fits too), with some ample electronic effects that are a credit to Gonzalez’s talent behind the board. It’s one of my favorite things that The Killers have released in a while. Dig it up below.
