Out of all the hip-hop sets at Made In America, the one I was most excited to see was from the hip-hop legends (now Rock and Roll Hall Of Famers), Pubic Enemy. They delivered a set heavy on the old school hip hop style as well as the political preaching and advocating that you’d expect from them. Mike D and Flavor Flav were engaging hosts for the evening bringing both their rhymes and thoughts to the table in an engaging manner. Hell, we even got to see Flavor Flav man a bass guitar and drums for a while.
It was a memorable set for many reasons, and now I can check them off my ever growing list and will be able to say that I saw Public Enemy live. Pretty cool.
